I have officially been a stepmom to the most amazing kid for 8 months! As rewarding as it has been it is also incredibly challenging. I have felt completely alone at times and questioned if I could even do this. That being said I wouldn't change anything and feel so blessed to have my family. Anything that make our lives easier or more enjoyable is worth it in my book! These are tried and true items we have at our house and love!

Game Night Must Have's

Game nights we have been loving Jenga and Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza. Both super simple and easy set up, they bring out the fun and competitiveness without being too serious. Enjoyable for the parents and the kids.

The Kick-Ass Stepmom Podcast by Jamie Scrimgeour

I could not live without Jamie Scrimgeour podcast it has brought me so much solace and positivity when in the beginning I only had the toxic facebook support groups to fall back on. I highly recommend for stepmoms, spouses who have remarried and even bio moms to have some out look on the situation. She is an amazing resource not just on her podcast but her website as well.
